Katy Boyd is an American country singer/songwriter who began writing songs at the age of 12. Influenced by the great Joan Baez and the American folk scene, she was performing in coffee houses and music clubs from the age of 15.

Katy moved to in England in the mid 1980'a for a recording contract. Now living in Dorset, she continues to be an active singer/songwriter, has numerous songs recorded by American artists, and divides her time between music, film making and photography. Not to mention a swarm of kids.
